Directions
You can get on Crete by plane to Chania airport or Heraklion airport. Otherwise, you can reach Crete by ship on Souda port, which is the most convenient harbor for Sfakia. If you wish, we could arrange a taxi transfer and hire a car for you. There is also the possibility to come by local bus, for further information please visit the link: http://www.e-ktel.com/en/

From Chania Airport
- At the airport take the road towards Chania about 7-8 kilometers
- On the way you will find a crossroad, stay on the left side of the road to the bay of Souda and, as you approach the exit of the National Road, follow the signs to Rethymnon
- Keep driving on the National Road for about 30 km and then you will follow the signs to Vrises – Chora Sfakion where you turn right (after a gas station of Shell)
- After the National Road, you will take the country road of Sfakia for 40 km passing through the villages of Vryses, Krapi, Askifou and Imvros. As you approach the sea, turn right towards Chora Sfakion.
From Heraklion Airport
- At the airport, take the road towards the exit of the National Road following the signs to Rethymnon.
- Keep driving on the National Road passing through the city of Rethymnon and then the villages of Kavros and Georgioupolis.
- Following the same road a little further (the total distance of the National Road is 100km), turn right and then left according to the signs to Vrises, drive for less than a kilometer and then turn left again, following the signs to Chora Sfakion.
- After the National Road, you will take the country road of Sfakia for 40 km passing through the villages of Vryses, Krapi, Askifou and Imvros. As you approach the sea, turn right towards Chora Sfakion.
From Souda Harbor
- Leaving Souda’s harbor, take the road to the National Road.
- Keep driving on the National road, along the north coast, to the fork towards the south, at Vryses village.
- As you approach the sea, turn right towards Chora Sfakion.
